Surgery

Our skilled vets can perform a wide range of soft tissue and orthopaedic surgeries. 

We have a separate, fully equipped, sterile operating room. All our surgeries are performed by experienced vets and patients are monitored by qualified vet nurses during and after anaesthesia.

Throughout the anaesthetic, patients are connected to an anaesthetic monitor measuring blood pressure, blood oxygen and carbon dioxide levels, body temperature, and heart rate and rhythm. Fluid pumps are used to provide intravenous fluid support during procedures.

All animals are placed on heated air beds during and after surgery which greatly reduces heat loss and makes for a faster and more comfortable recovery. Pre and post operative pain relief is given to all patients.
